The concert was held in St Leonards Church (HR6 0BB). There was a bar in the venue and the Community Shop in the church was open during the interval so walkers could stock up on supplies.

The Bell Inn is just 20 yards from the concert venue and is in the heart of the village.

The Bell is run by Barrie and Heather who knew the Ramblers were coming on the 15th and looked forward to welcoming them – even though it was Heathers birthday! They offer a wide menu of pub meals, burgers, pasta, salad, steak & veggie options for £7-£10 plus Thursday night is Curry night!

The walk on Friday morning started from the Parish Hall (HR6 0BE) where car parking was available in return for a small contribution to Hall funds. Coffee/tea and croissants were available there for anyone who can’t get breakfast or who needed extra fuel.
