of the River Arrow.
On Saturday 21st September 2013, John Jones led a walk to the source of the River Arrow through beautiful border landscape, taking in an ancient Celtic church and a hidden valley, finishing with a pint or two at the Royal Oak pub in Gladestry.
This was part of the Kington walking weekend. Coach travel was provided from Kington to the start of the walk and then back again from Gladestry.
In the evening, John and his Reluctant Ramblers, with special guests, played their final gig of the year. This was the last chance in 2013 to hear songs from both Rising Road and from John’s forthcoming new solo album.
