JJ – If you are still searching for a venue for the Wednesday night the Fox and Hounds near Lydford on the west side of the moor midway between Okehampton and Tavistock has a small function room/skittle alley attached to the pub with its own bar. There are some great walks to there across from Okehampton (via Yes Tor – highest part of Dartmoor) and the walk to Holne the next day would be about 25 km across the remotest parts of the South and North Moor. http://foxandhoundshotel.com/
