2015 saw two walks and two festivals with John Jones and the Reluctant Ramblers:
- June: the “Return to the Ridgeway” walking weekend
- August: Shrewsbury Folk Festival – headlining Marquee 2 on Sunday 31st
- September: Wallingford BunkFest – main stage on Sunday 6th
- October: Walking in The Lake District – 3 walks, two gigs and a session
Johns’ new album ‘Never Stop Moving’ was released in time for the Shrewsbury festival.
If you are ever looking for a one day walk from Kington/Titley with a music venue at the end, how about following the Mortimer Trail north to Croft Castle (c 18 miles) and then dropping down into Yarpole. Not only is there a pub but St Leonards – church/village shop/community hub/performance space can offer you a great singing space – and able to provide refreshment.
John, please come to Glastonbury. The Assembly rooms makes a great venue for live music. We saw Rory McLeod here last year.
Hi John
Just wondering if you are going to do any walks or gigs in the East Sussex region?
