Forty walkers setting off from Bredenbury this morning

Day four and we’re out in the Herefordshire countryside. Last night we had the most fantastic evening at The Barrels in Hereford – massive thanks to Phil and all the staff, and everyone who came along. The band was on great form and we raised £500 for St Michael’s Hospice. Everything about the evening was perfect for raising spirits after one of the toughest afternoons of walking that we’ve ever done – driving rain, thunder, lightning – it was really hard!

This morning we started from the hospice and we are now heading for lunch: the Plough Inn next to the wonderful Wye Valley Brewery in Stoke Lacey. If you’re in the area, come and say hello! JJ
